Unbelievable time!!!!! Had so much fun. Camped from Friday to Monday, the boat tour was great relaxing, beautiful we got to go back in time with them and see how Trapper Nelson lived and claimed this beautiful land. Our tour guide she was great, very passionate which makes the experience much better. We went on a 5 mile hike, exhausted but lots of nature to look at. Rented some bikes, Hobe sound Beach was great, the 86 foot tower was pretty cool. The only problem we encountered was our camp site #114 was infested with FLEAS. Still suffering from the itching but all in all a great time. Thats why I gave it the full 5 stars the people that work their are so friendly and passionate about their jobs. Thank you for making this trip memorable. See you all in a few months I can't wait.

The tour to Trapper Nelson's can be a problem if the river is high. The staff know this but they schedule the trip, people pay to go there, and then they tell you it is impossible to get off. There are three tour boats and they chose the one for the tour with malfunctioning speakers so it was impossible to hear the nature tour. I saw more on YouTube. NO REFUNDS. The food truck was the positive point of the day.

Full service camping facility, boat and kayak rentals, trails to hike and bike. We really enjoyed this state park. Great value for all it offers.

Fantastic public park. Terrific hiking, MTB and running trails. Access to great canoeing and kayaking waterways as well as on site seasonal camping. Must see park when in the area. Don't forget Hobe Tower.

The park was nicer before the state cut the trees to make more camp sites.

We had a wonderful time here, there is so much to do. Hiking, long bike riding trail, canoe rental. We all had a blast, the camp sites are very open, not alot of trees around the sites. Our time there we got rain a couple of nights, and with no tress to ease the rain the ⛺ s ,didn't do so well ,water came into almost all the ⛺. The lookout peek offers a great view of Jupiter island and the ocean.
