Such a beautiful place! There is a nature center with fish, seahorse, shrimp, crab, skunk, snakes, baby alligator, baby crocodile. And there are steps down to the most gorgeous white sand beach on the Indian River Lagoon! There is shade where kids can build sand castles while parents relax!
We went during a quiet time and the staff was very eager to show us all of the animals. They let out son pet the baby alligator. Nature trail is fairly short but the beach that you can access it's perfect for little kids. It's on the inland waterways so it's a tame beach and there's benches fur adults to sit on.
Great interaction for kids. They have fish, snakes and other small animals. The Hiking trail is nice too but it's short, less than a mile long.
The staff were really friendly and accommodating. Our children got to interact with the live wild animals on display. Very tranquil location.
